Chandler Perry

Hytrol Employee Spotlight Q & A

Chandler Perry is our Parcel Application and Special Projects Engineer. He has been with the Hytrol Family for nearly 10 years. Chandler oversees large-scale, full system designs and has even quoted over $146 million in 2025 alone. For this employee spotlight, we’ve asked Chandler a few questions about his time at Hytrol and his career.

What is something you’ve accomplished recently that you’re proud of? “I was awarded the Parcel Application Engineer of the Year award for 2024. I am very grateful and proud for having been awarded this and appreciate everyone who has supported me throughout my years at Hytrol.”

What do you enjoy most about your job? “The people I interact with on a daily basis. Not only my coworkers, but also all of the different integrators that I work with on various projects and programs. There are so many interesting people that I’ve had the pleasure of working with over the years, and they are highlights of my days.”

What is a challenge you’ve faced recently, and how did you handle it? “My day-to-day work is a lot of problem-solving, typically. Earlier in [2025], I was tasked with working on some of the largest orders Hytrol has ever done. There were many difficulties with working on a project of this size and requires many special pieces of equipment that we have not produced in the past. Throughout the year, I have worked with the design and Tech Center teams to ensure we are able to meet the needs of our customers.”

What advice would you give to someone new at Hytrol? “Always be willing to put yourself out there. Hytrol is a great place to work, and what I appreciate most is the desire to promote internally for positions. I never would have imagined myself in the role I am in today when I first started my career at Hytrol. Thankfully, I was given the opportunity to come to the office in 2020, and I am forever grateful to Curtis Collins and Chris Woodall for giving me the chance to prove myself and allowing me to further my career at Hytrol.”
